Sharing some words of the work ...
I see everything as a form of vibration.
I’ve been fascinated by this for a long time now. It has been present in previous pieces for example in ‚FLUGMODUS.’ We used elements to explore how the vibrations can enter the bodies of the audience members.
Even though that I could have dived into researching on this topic for much more time, years maybe, I feel it’s the moment to say something, to create a piece of art that explores the subject, physically, sonically, visually.
There are vibrations from movement, sound and light which shape the room. These are natural elements, interlacing like in nature. I see them in the sea: sunlight that goes through water waves, hitting the sand, which is also in the shape of waves.
The dancers are like Atoms in one drop of water.
It’s a new territory for me. Focussing from the side of dance on one material discovering plenty of details.
I’m not a performer on stage for the first time and this has helped a lot. I can better decide about many layers in this complex situation/composition.
I am looking for the right rhythm interlacing the elements. Each one has it’s weight at a different place.
It’s exciting to be working with so many levels of vibration and resonance.
